Call to direct line rings through to linked number, call to Ring groups do not

Is this by design?

When I call my direct line, it rings the desktop app and my linked mobile number. When I call a Ring Group in which I am member only the desktop app rings, the linked numbers does not.

Expectation is, and I believe this worked before, is that both calls to a direct line and ring group will forward to a users linked number.

PS. I have calls to my android device disabled in settings to avoid confusion
