Solved: Google Sites - Domain - Page 2

I just bought a new domain on Go Daddy and set it up as my primary domain in google workspaces. My old domain is now a secondary domain.

When I go through the admin console -> apps -> google sites to set my custom URL it still shows my secondary domain (formerly primary domain)

I have verified the new primary domain, done the CNAME, A record, and DNS updates at Go Daddy.

Has anyone found a solution for this? Do I simply need to to delete my secondary domain in Google Workspaces?

I'll DM you directly about support. Deleting the domain is not the solution.

@ddendaas all you need to do is copy the site using an account that uses the new primary domain:

Change your account to use the new primary domain
Go to the site and copy it to a new site
Once copied set appropriate permissions and publish: it will use the new primary domain
Map the Custom URL to the new site
Unpublish the old site so no one can get to it and change your account back to the original domain if you wish.
