For the past two days, I have been facing an issue where AppSheet is unable to load the list of tables in both the view and table modes when adding a table from a MySQL database source.
Solved! Go to Solution.
The fix is now rolled out 100%. If you still see weird behaviors with the same issue, please contact support, thanks.
Yes, I tested with my accounts.
Another perfect bug.
Not sure how many times I observed the newly found and introduced bugs with AppSheet......
Just fed up.

Please don t ask me like Google support desk. "Please and better to check if you have tables or view in your data base...to check if there is tables/view with your database" yes we have bunch of them.
BUG.
I took less than 1 mins to test to see if this is bug or not.
Other community member reported and it is re-producible, then it could be a perfect bug. I m not jumping to the conclusion simply, but 99 % of the cases, this suspicion is right.
However, once we notice such a bug, and then report to the AppSheet support desk, probably it takes years until they reckon this is a bug after bunch of mail exchanges.
Sadly this is a Google/AppSheet real story.
I am seeing performance degradation across the board with my postgresql datsource. I'm seeing the same issue you are showing as well as the app being unable to load tables and timing out. Running the queries directly in the database is working just fine.
im having the same problem
Please contact AppSheet Support for help with this.
@Steve Dont say that!!!! haha ๐
I'm having issues with postgres as of this morning, and similarly I can not access my list of schemas / tables for my valid postgres datasources.
Yep, also having these issues. Apps that were working last night are suddenly timing out waiting for tables and can't add new tables from Postgres sources.
The reason for this Table/View issue is found and fix is coming. As per devs, the build should fix the sync performance issue as well. Sorry about the distraction this is causing!
Just to say I'm having exactly the same problem - the list of tables and views is blank.
For me, it's a SQL database on Azure. All was working fine yesterday (thurs 21st nov), and this morning (Fri 22nd Nov) my apps stopped working as they cannot load any data.
Seems like it's a major bug on AppSheet's side, as we all have the same thing with different external databases.
FYI.. I will update this community post when the fix is released 100%.

The simple explanation what happened with this unexpected issue: We were trying log an estimate of the data size over the wire, but for certain provider types an error was thrown when using a particular function to get this size. So we turned that size checking piece off for now. It was mostly impacting Postgres. And sorry again about the distraction!
Thank you Aleksi for internal coordination to introduce a quick fix. ๐
