Solved: Dynamic Email in Appsheet - Page 2

Hi

I have seen several articles on how to create a dynamic email in Appsheet. From these articles I have managed to create and send an email. But my problem is ALL fields in the email are editable, I only want one field to be editable and Approval field.

So in my email I have presented a form view showing a few details about a project. The email has been sent to the appropriate approver. But they can edit all the fields in the email, not just Approved / Rejected field. How can I achieve this in a dynamic email in Appsheet.

It is October 2024 and I am using the latest version of Appsheet, sp references to the current menus would be appreciated.

Anyone's help and guidance in this matter would be very much appreciated.

Three options:

Disable the Editable? option for the columns you don't want them to modify.
Use an Editable_If expression to disable editing of those columns.
Add virtual columns for each of the values you want displayed but not edited, populated with the corresponding values, and include these virtual columns rather than the normal columns.
