HTML in a Form View

Can anyone confirm if HTML renders in a Form view? The editor clearly indicates Markdown & HTML formatting is enabled in Detail & Form views. I cannot get it to render in a form view, it renders in a Detail view. Thanks for the help!

The preview program of which this feature is a part of states that formatted text will only render in detail views...

Thanks, it;s a real pity they can't see fit to either add this feature or remove the text. 😞
