No Child Data on PDF generation with a Start Expression

When I create a form with a child table within it, I am creating a PDF upon saving the form.  But the child data does not show up.  Only when I put a 5 minute delay on the File Generation does it work.  Is this normal?

If understanding of your description is correct, yes that is an expected behavior with child records when you use bot on parent.

I believe this approach in the article was described before automation added "wait steps" feature. But the reference to the article is to know that the issue is a common one.
