Sending images (QR) by WhatsApp

Hello!

I am currently sending the QR code in text form by WhatsApp, can I send it in an image?

It is the link that is sent with the behavior as a text string:

Negative; click-chat, the WhatsApp feature you’re likely using, doesn’t support anything but text.

If the text would be something interpretable, like a URL, then WhatsApp (the actual app) will “convert” that element into what it’s supposed to be - aka a URL will become clickable.

But images are not supported, as far as I know.
