Some Google Groups not working in Domain Authentication

Has anyone experienced some groups working properly to authenticate users and other groups not (even if they have the same members) when using the Group Authentication in Domain authentication?

The groups that don't work the users just get stuck in a log in request loop.  The screen loads to log in through the domain and when you do it just refreshing saying it didn't work try logging in again.  The only difference we can find in the groups is that the ones that don't work are synced google groups from Active Directory (i.e. group is originally created and managed in AD).  All the groups so up in our Appsheet Domain authentication that was set up for Google Groups.  So it's confusing because we expect all of the google groups to work regardless, but they don't.

I know we can create an AD domain for appsheet authentication as a work around, but wondering if anyone has any insights?  Maybe it's not because of the AD sync?

We were able to figure this out.  It turned out to be a setting in the groups about visibility of group members.  Our central IT had it set so we could not view the members of the groups in question.  Changing the settings to allow any user internal to the organization to see the members of the groups allowed appsheet group authentication to be able to properly read the emails in the group to allow access.

The support link mentions it, and shows how to do it globally in the admin panel, but we found that you can also control it on a group basis.  For example, my groups in question were switched to allow all internal users to view members (just in case you don't want to turn on viewing of members for all groups)
