Using Enterprise Plan App with Core License

Hi everyone, can an app created with the Enterprise plan in AppSheet which uses an SQL database be used by people with the Core plan?

Yes, 100% the Enterprise plan allows for usage of databases.  The plans are not determined by the users but rather the apps.  Once the app is added to the Enterprise plan any added users or users who are allowed to use the app will be subjected to the Enterprise licensing fee of $20/user per month.

Yes sure. And the limit of Appsheet's Databse of 250k rows is related to the owner of the app. Core users can use it.

Are you sure about this? the app using an sql database

I can't be 100% sure 'cause there is no official documentation explaining this. But, I've a few apps with these scenario and it's going OK

Thank your for response. How many users have do you have in these apps? Do they have the core license plan?

the creator - enterprise
12 core users

ps: i am not using sql but Appsheet db

Thank you for response again.

I would be very interested in getting the official response to this question as I believe you are mistaken.  I am ready to apologise though and be very surprised.

@Steve given your answer on another threadโ€”see belowโ€”do you have a different experience with license requirements for an app with a Cloud database?

https://www.googlecloudcommunity.com/gc/AppSheet-Q-A/Limits-database-appsheet/m-p/853481

@Steve 's response in that other thread is basically the same - apps are owned by App Creators.

However, different apps under that SAME account (i.e. owned by the same App Creator) will have different "Minimum Plan Requirements".  You can see this in the Account tab for App Info.  (see image below) You can also run an analysis in the App Editor to see what the min plan required is and why.

When you edit an app to use a cloud database, it will require the Enterprise Plan once the app is deployed.  The account must be set to the Billing option of "Secure (per app user)".

The question I do not yet know the answer to...

If you as the App Creator allow it, users can use any app under the account.  If there is an app that requires Enterprise and another that only requires Core and a user only uses the Core app, is the user license billed at $10 for the app "Core" plan requirement or is it billed at $20/month at the account level.??

I do believe AppSheet supports tiered billing and will charge only Core license fees for users who only access Core apps and elevate that to Enterprise if the user then also accesses an Enterprise app in that same month.  But I am not certain of this yet.  Can anyone else clarify?
