the app is not pushing data to the spread sheet

so i just witnessed that my entries on the app are not transferring to the spreadsheet, and I don't know why. I have two sheets the first one works fine, it takes all the entries from the app, but the second is not updating at all. What could be the reason please help. !!!

Are the updates noted in the red dot in the upper right corner of he app screen?

Does the red dot ever go away?

Is the spreadsheet owned by the same user that owns the app? If not, does the owner of the app have sufficient access to the spreadsheet to make all changes?

Is the app configured to access the spreadsheet as the app owner, or as the app user? If as the app user, does the app user have sufficient access to the spreadsheet to make the needed changes?

yes the clockwise arrow does show a "1" when new items are being entered from the app, and it seems that its working because I get the loading screen and then the red dot disappears which I think it means its working. 

yes the worksheet is owned by only one person and the app is signed in to that same account and it is configured as the owner.

but as I mentioned before, I have two tabs/sheets on my google sheets. one is called '"inventory" and the other is called "sold" and I'm having an issue with "sold"

if I manually enter a new item in "inventory" on google sheets, I get that item to show on my appsheet when I refresh, and vise versa, when I enter a new item on my app sheet in "inventory" tab, it gets pushed through to the spreadsheet just fine.

also, when I manually enter a new "sold" item on my spreadsheet, it gets updated on my appsheet app when I refresh, BUTTTTTT, when I enter a new "sold" item on my appsheet, then it doesn't get pushed to my spreadsheet. And now I'm lost.. Any ideas

UPDATE!!! apparently, it was indeed feeding it through the spreadsheet, however the entries were not entered on the next available row on the sheet, it entered it on the 2042th row, and my sheet is up to 128 rows so I was expecting a new row to be in 129 but NOOO 2042 seems right, I think it was a glitch from google sheet. all in all everything is back on track thank for your feedback 🙂

Ah, yep. If anything occurs in any cell of a spreadsheet row, that spreadsheet row is not considered blank and AppSheet will not put a new data row in it. A new data row is added after the last non-blank spreadsheet row.

In your situation, likely something got entered accidentally in row 2041.

You can safely delete all empty rows of a Google Sheets spreadsheet.
