API Endpoint logTypes.create

Hello all,

I just came across the v1alpha API endpoint "logTypes.create" (link)

I thought it had to be requested and then provided by Google.
Does it mean that SecOps customers are autonomous for custom log_type creation ?

If so, what is Google advice for the choice of the "logTypeId" parameter that will be associated to the log_type ?

Hi @chrisd2 I think the documentation needs an update. Currently, the log labels are only created by Google. I'll get more clarification about this exact endpoint and post more details about it by next week.

Hi @chrisd2 I verified internally that this API endpoint is not valid and we will be removing it from our public documentation. If you need a new data label, please open a support case for now. Thanks!
