Hello Google Cloud Community! We're deviating slightly from our regularly scheduled monthly Community Roundup series to take a look back at not just what happened in December, but everything we've accomplished together in 2022.

Google Cloud Community 2022 stats at-a-glance

  • 😀 The Google Cloud Community welcomed 49,367 new members 
  • 4.3 million minutes were spent by members on the Community
  • 👨‍💻 There were 1.9 million visits to the Community

Learning & Certification Hub

The Learning & Certification Hub was busy this year! In 2022, there were more than 10 learning challenges, nearly 1,000 posts in Cloud Learning Logs, and hundreds of newly-certified Cloud professionals sharing their accomplishments in the Cloud Certified Group forum.

Other highlights include a new Google Cloud Certified digital toolkit, the first quarterly Learning & Certification Hub newsletter, Certification prep webinars, and a new Google Cloud Skills Boost Annual Subscription offering.

Thank you mentioning my name there, it was a great year 2022, I started many new technologies and also got into this great community to learn.

Now the year 2023, has a lot to offer everyone of us, and in my case it's my college placement year, wish me luck guys 😅 (if you don't mind to).

I really just want to be connected to this community as long as I can, so will be looking for a suitable job role this year too.

Wow -- I just realized I've been a member since 2018 (since the prev. iteration of the community forums). 😅

I am delighted to be mentioned by you. I am extremely lucky to be part of such a wonderful community where we can say each member acts like a rivet, just like an aeroplane would not fly without rivets. In the same way, communities are nothing without the hard-working admins, moderators and volunteers who answer questions from participants, motivate and assist them.
